After freelance reporting from Gaza in the spring and summer of 2010, I covered news from the Middle East as an editorial intern at Mother Jones Magazine. I've recently begun work as the Assistant Editor at Tikkun Magazine. I am fluent in colloquial Arabic, and my work has appeared in The Nation, Jerusalem Post, Jerusalem Post Magazine, GlobalPost, Huffington Post, Columbia Journalism Review, Ha'aretz, The Marker, Mother Jones, and Tikkun.

In the winter of 2009, I maintained a blog about a Palestinian mobile phone company that was unlawfully prevented from offering cellular service in the West Bank; the company has since been able to commence its operation.
