I've lived in the Middle East for much of the past six years, and have reported from Gaza, Israel, and the West Bank. I received a master's degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. I also serve as the Summer Program Director and Communications Manager at Hands of Peace, a coexistence program for Palestinian, Israeli, and American teenagers. Through both my writing and my international development efforts, I try to give power and voice to local leaders in underserved communities.
